Best Man Home Service and Higher Standard Cleaners are looking for a Maintenance Professional to join our team.  Skills required for this position include: basic home maintenance, lawncare, snow removal, plowing, carpentry, drywall, painting, and general handyman skills.  Customer service skills, basic office skills, and a professional demeanor required.  This is a full-time, year round position.

You will be provided the following for this position:

1. $24.00 / hour

2. 40 Hours a Week.  Semi-flexible schedule.  Limited on-call (at on-call pay rate)

3. A company vehicle with gas card.

4. Company uniforms (Shirts, sweatshirts, hats etc.)

5. Skills training in specific trades.

6. Company provided PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)

7. Health insurance paid in full by the company.

8. PTO benefits and sick pay.

9. Holiday pay and paid birthday off.

Requirements for this position:

• Previous Maintenance experience preferred.

• Provide high quality work.

• Lawncare experience.

• Snow removal and plowing experience. 

• Vacuum and carpet cleaner maintenance experience is a bonus.

• Ability to plan, coordinate, and complete your own small jobs within the period of time you estimate the job to take.

• Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• The ability to assess the task at hand according to the customer’s requests/ needs.

• Ability to work individually and on teams for assigned tasks on presold jobs.

• Present yourself in a professional manner while working with customers and in public.

• Leave every jobsite cleaner than you found it.

• A valid NYS driver’s license.

Full-Time Cleaning Professional

 

Higher Standard Cleaners at Best Man Home Service is looking for multiple Cleaners to join our team!  Must have an attention to detail, a great attitude, honest, disciplined and responsible. This is a full-time position.

You will be provided the following for this position:

• A starting rate of $18 / hour.

• 40 Hours a week

• Weekend Availability Required.

Best Man Home Service is looking for a Multi-Trade Craftsman / Sales with a strong suit in plumbing and electrical to join the BMHS Team.  Other skills required for this position include; carpentry, drywall, painting, and general handyman skills.  Customer service skills, office skills, and a professional demeanor required. This is a full-time position.

You will be provided the following for this position:

• A starting rate of $50K - $70K / year

• A Ram ProMaster 1500 high top company van with gas card.

• Must be highly skilled in either plumbing or electrical and/ or both.

• Must also be proficient in all or most of the following trades: carpentry, drywall, painting, tile installation, door and window installation, flooring, siding, and general handyman skills.

• Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• The ability to assess the task at hand according to the customer’s requests/ needs.

• Ability to work both individually and on a team on presold jobs.

• Leave every jobsite cleaner than you found it.

• Ability to teach and train an apprentice various trade skills.

• Minimum 5 years experience in multiple trades.

Full-Time Digital Media Specialist

 

Best Man Home Service and Higher Standard Cleaners is looking for a qualified Digital Media Specialist to join our team!  In the digital media specialist role, you will be responsible for leading marketing efforts and boosting the company’s brand awareness for each department.  

​

If you know how to creatively handle various online marketing tools, like websites, podcasts and blogs, this position is for you. You will work with different teams to coordinate our marketing, advertising and promotional activities. Must be able to create flyers, business cards and marketing pieces, build and maintain a website, as well as take video to be edited into training videos.

​

Must have an attention to detail, a great attitude, honest, disciplined and responsible.  Ultimately, you should be able to promote our company and increase client engagement.

This is a full-time position.

 

You will be provided the following for this position:

• A starting rate of $20 / hour.
